Product in the Aether

What is Product in the (A)ether?

A remote meet-up about product management and product thinking, bringing together people from any location to discuss all things product. (Did we mention product?) This could be people, process, prioritisation (or prioritization), design, research, stakeholder management, ethics, agile, lean, teams, delivery, etc. The group decides, on the day, what we’re going to talk about.

Where is it?

The meet-up is held online over video (we use zoom), which means it is wherever you are. You don’t need a zoom account, but you will need to install the software.

What do I need to take part?

a computer with access you can install zoom on
decent internet connection to cope with a video call
a webcam and microphone so everyone can see and hear you
quiet space and headphones so you can hear everyone
a desire to learn and share

Do I need to be a product manager to take part?

No. That would be boring.

But you do need to be interested in the types of things product managers are likely to care about - what Seb Sabouné calls Product Thinking.

Some events may be targeted at specific topics or for people in similar situations.
